The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing Hub and sort activities.  They are accountable for ensuring packages are supported accurately and loaded onto appropriate trailers for movement to next location.  This position supervises part-time inside manual employees.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing employees loading and unloading UPS trailers. Responsible for reviewing operational reports daily supporting productivity, performance, and service

Hours: 20-hrs/week, Monday-Thursday, 8:45 a.m.-1:45 p.m.

Salary: Range based on experience

General Summary: 

  • Work with families/individuals seeking help; direct them to appropriate staff or program representative
  • Answer in-coming phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Provide secretarial/general support services associated with all services provided by Berkshire Immigrant Center
  • Assist with oral interpretation and document translation
  • Schedule client appointments, perform intake and collect fees
  • Data entry and maintenance of client database
  • Direct supervision of interns and volunteers

Responsibilities: 

  • Primarily responsible for secretarial/receptionist duties;
  • Maintaining filing systems, data entry, resource information and office supplies; and
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must live within 1-hour driving distance from Pittsfield, MA
