Field Service Technician Trainee Job Description
Overview:
We are looking for focused, hard-working recent technical school graduates with initiative and a mechanical aptitude to be hired into our Field Service Technician Trainee Program. This is an entry level position and offers those chosen the opportunity for a rewarding career through hands-on service in a financial institution setting. The chosen candidate(s) will learn our business by attending our comprehensive Trainee Development Program in Cornelius, NC. The program includes classroom training combined with on-the-job field training with an assigned mentor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Field Service Technician’s responsibility is to respond to, diagnose and resolve field service issues for BranchServ service customers. Field Service Technician will include locksmith skills and the maintenance and repair of drive-up systems, alarm systems, access control and closed circuit video systems.
Qualifications:
- All applicants are required to pass a comprehensive background check.
- All applicants are required to pass a drug test.
- High school diploma required.
- Graduate of technical training school preferred, but not required.
- Valid state driver’s license in good standing.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Motivated, self-starter.
Salary:
Trainees will be hired in the range of $15.00 – $18.00 per hour. Rate of pay may vary based on geography.
Once the trainee has successfully completed the trainee program and is able to carry out duties independently, a new hourly rate of pay will be determined.
