Assists the Branch Officer in directing branch operations and sales while ensuring that the entire team is consistently providing excellent customer service.

Key Accountabilities:
1.Educates customers on the wide variety of products and services offered in the branches. Initiates, processes and closes various loans. Cross sells appropriately based on customers needs. Refers business to other departments through our company’s desktop referral system. Ensures proper documentation and compliance for all new accounts and account maintenance. 35%
2.Assists Branch Officer in building/managing sales culture in order to achieve branch goals and Bank-wide initiatives. Monitors quality and efficiency of customer service delivery in the branch. Communicates Bank policies, programs and objectives. Maintains awareness of Federal and state banking regulations and branch security program. May review and approve legal documents related to accounts. Stays abreast of new products, services, and promotions and educates and supports the entire branch team. 35%
3.Provides ongoing assistance in managing day-to-day branch operations. Provides backup to the Branch Officer or teller line and handles difficult customers and/or situations; approves customer transaction exceptions as needed. Ensures proper branch appearance and supply inventory levels. Reviews various branch reports. Opens and closes branch ensuring adherence to security measures. May oversee monthly branch audit process. 20%
4.Provides input for staff performance management. May recommend salary adjustments and transfers. Resolves routine personnel problems and provides support in counseling or disciplinary actions. Assists with interviewing potential candidates and in making hiring decisions. May manage time and attendance for staff. Conducts staff meetings; ensures adequate staff training and development to meet branch goals and objectives. May also be responsible for weekly scheduling of branch staff as well as the monthly Saturday schedule. 10%

Must be eligible to be registered in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry for purposes of SAFE Act, if applicable.
Education:
•High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
•3-5 years’ branch banking experience

The Daniel Arts Center at Bard College at Simon’s Rock seeks part-time TECHNICAL THEATER ASSISTANT

Estimated 25+/- hours per week, for no more than 900 hours during the academic year, with most hours when the college is in session (Sept – May). This is position is not eligible for group benefits.

The Daniel Arts Center is home to the Arts Division of Bard College at Simon’s Rock, in Great Barrington, MA. The school is a residence college offering AA and BA degrees to younger students. While serving as the academic presenting venue, the arts center also functions as a presenting and rental venue for events through out the year, with a full summer schedule.

MFA in technical theater and 2+ years experience preferred, but not essential. The candidate should be personable, prompt, and able to work easily and responsibly with students. Should be familiar with and experienced in all aspects of technical theater craft. Should be comfortable with the Ion lighting controller and Unison systems. Must be able to adapt to changing schedules, and varying hours. Valid driver’s license and car required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., and manage a single purchase fly system.

Duties and responsibilities:
•Assist the Technical Director with all college events, performances, concerts, lectures, events and thesis presentations in the DAC’s two theaters;
•Assist in scheduling student crews for Electrics, Scene Shop, Sound and FOH activities;
•Cover events, lectures, and other presentations within the DAC and elsewhere on campus as needed;
•Assist in safety training of student crews operating various theater equipment; and
•Assist in the maintenance of equipment and spaces used by the Departments, and provide support to faculty’s technical needs

Veteran Rep from Berkshire Works, South County office hours

Starting on January 7, I am scheduled to start going back to the Great Barrington satellite to meet with any vets who would like my services. If anyone has a veteran they want to refer to me, I would be more than glad to work with them. My schedule is going to be changing some starting next week. Monday and Thursdays I will be in the Pittsfield office from 8AM to 4PM, Friday I will be available from 9AM to 4PM. Wednesdays I will be at the North Adams City Hall office starting at 8. Then once school opens after the holidays (Jan 7?) I will be at the Great Barrington office from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Position Overview: The Graphic Designer provides purpose-driven, compelling, and branded graphic design that helps Berkshire Community College to accomplish its strategic goals. The graphic designer collaborates closely with colleagues in the Public Relations Office and throughout the college; manages the process of producing materials from the development of creative concept through delivery and deployment; and actively maintains consistent graphic identity and high quality standards. Design projects may include (but are not limited to) print and electronic marketing communication materials and publications such as admissions materials, the college catalog, semester schedules, news-letters, and other collateral print materials as well as materials for the web. Responsibilities may also include photography and organization of the college’s digital assets.

Required Qualifications:
• Associates’ degree with formal graphic design training with minimum of three years of professional design experience.
• Advanced proficiency Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), font management and photo archiving systems as well Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Four-color process printing experience.
• Strong technical skills, exceptional aesthetic sense, thorough understanding of methods of visual communication, solid understanding of printing processes and photography, and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize tasks; to meet deadlines; and work independently and within a team
• Ability to work with professional integrity and discretion
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate, listen, collaborate, and work effectively with a diverse college community

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Macintosh computers required; OS 10.4.
• Hands-on knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, PHP/MySQL and WordPress content management.
