The CTL will pilot the Getting Results faculty training program this semester for a new faculty cohort. This program, supported by the NSF, League for Innovation, and WGBH television, is free of cost to BCC. It consists of six modules which cover such topics as: creating a classroom community, active learning techniques, moving beyond the classroom, teaching with technology, and assessment. Each module is supported by video segments, discussion topics, and other resources. Accompanying the GR program, participants will be reading and discussing Parker Palmer’s The Courage to Teach. This program is being put together by Colin Adams, adjunct faculty member.
