Title: Part-time Job Coach (2 positions)
Work Location: Holyoke, MA
Rate of Pay: $12.25 per hour
Schedule: Up to 25 hours per week, may include evenings and weekends

Daily schedule based on programmatic needs

 

Summary

The Job Coach provides orientation, training, and supervision of workers with disabilities, working one-to-one in a community business setting.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills.  The ability to work independently in a team environment is necessary, as is flexibility to meet program needs. Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations is required.

Education, Training, and Experience

High School Diploma or GED with one year of paid employment, community service and/or training.  Human service experience is desired.

Other Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, the use of vehicle, and the willingness to transport program participants in a personal and/or agency vehicle.  Desire to do meaningful work and make a difference in someone’s life a must.  Bilingual/Bicultural experience is an asset.

Summary

The Employment Coordinator develops and services employment relationships between clients and community employers, providing access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities. Responsibilities include job development, job placement, employer education, and customer relations.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written.  The ability to work independently in a team environment is necessary, as is flexibility to meet program needs. Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations is required.  A good public relations manner is essential to represent the agency to customers and the public.

Education, Training, and Experience

High School degree or GED plus three years related experience OR Associate’s degree plus one year experience and/or training.  One year of supervisory or human service experience desired.

Promotions Director/On Air Personality, Greenfield, MA, radio station

Saga Communications is seeking a promotions director and air personality for radio stations WHAI (AC) and WPVQ (Country) in Greenfield, MA.  Applicants must be able to work with clients, agencies and promoters in developing exciting promotions and campaigns that benefit both the clients and the radio stations.  On-air experience is required.  Personal appearances and interacting with the audience are a large part of the position.  Candidates should also be well versed in social media, and be able to represent the stations effectively on those platforms.
