Case Manager substance abuse services– Orange Recovery Home

Orange Recovery Home for men is seeking a full-time case manager to provide support and case management advocacy to participants. The Orange program is a substance abuse recovery program for men ages 18 and older. Our next case manager will play an integral role in establishing and nurturing a safe, drug-free, health-oriented, supportive environment steeped in the culture of recovery.

The Orange Recovery Program is one of three recovery homes that serve as transitional residences for men and women 18 years of age and older who are in the early stages of substance abuse recovery. We provide a lightly structured, drug-free environment. This supportive environment is maintained through 24-hour staffing and case management services. The social model and milieu encourage house residents to provide one another with a culture of recovery, support, sharing, and positive peer role modeling. The programs are built on the philosophy that each individual must learn to take responsibility for their own recovery process.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CADAC/LADC preferred.
  • At least 2 years’ experience working with substance addiction population.
  • Experience working with the homeless population.
  • Familiarity with community social, vocational, entitlement, and medical resources.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • CPR and 1st Aid Certifications

Shared Living Provider

SHARED LIVING PROVIDER – Springfield Area

Provide in-home support and assistance to a very active, male shared living client. A qualified host will teach individual independent living skills and provide a safe and stable living environment. Create and supervise outings and activities in the community. This is a full-time commitment and providers will receive a tax-free monthly stipend averaging around $2,500 per month.

ServiceNet is seeking recovery counselors to work in a mental health residential program that is double-staffed around the clock and serves 4 adults in Hadley, MA.

Recovery Counselors working in a residential program play a meaningful role by accepting clients as they are and providing the skills building to encourage their success and independence. In this position, you will provide and assist participants living at Stockbridge House with information and strategies to meet their individualized recovery goals. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team promoting contextual rehabilitation—a change model that facilitates people’s success according to the context of their life—by considering what they’ve been through and identifying their next steps.

Qualifications:

  • Two years’ experience in mental health or human services field preferred
  • Ability to think outside the box, motivate, inspire and support participants to develop and reach their goals
  • Physical ability to perform the requirements of the position
  • MAP Certification and CPR Certification preferred but will be offered upon hiring

Client Service Specialist/Receptionist- Northampton

Our busy outpatient clinic in downtown Northampton is seeking part-time and full-time client service specialists. This person will have excellent customer service skills and previous experience working in a fast-paced office environment as well as familiarity with many different populations. They will greet every person who walks into the clinic with a smile and willingness to service them.

The Client Service Specialist is responsible for a variety of administrative duties necessary to run the department efficiently, including, but not limited to being cross trained in all office positions. They will also serve as a liaison for information and communication between clients, doctors, and clinicians.

Our outpatient services provide counseling and medication management, when needed, to anyone struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues in all five of our outpatient clinics. We provide evidence-based treatments that work.

Human Resources Internship

Under the direction of the Director of Training & Development, the Human Resources Intern will generally be responsible for:

  • Coordinate and develop employee development initiatives.
  • Draft requests for information and identify online training tools to better serve our unique organization.
  • Design and draft training curriculum and course materials in a variety of formats (E-Learning and in person).
  • Draft and develop toolkits to help implement strategic planning initiatives.

Human Resources – Strategic Planning Intern

This internship involves supporting the Assistant Secretary of Human Resources in developing, and implementing, solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives such as succession planning. The intern will support organizational change by seeking ways for the organization to be more effective. Summer Internships typically run for 14 weeks from June through the end of August. Students must commit to a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development of policies and programs that help MassDOT meet its performance goals and objectives.
  • Makes recommendations and devises methodologies through which programs can be augmented or new programs can be developed effectively and efficiently.
  • Conducts comparative research and data analysis to measure performance.
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders on projects.
  • Develops data visualizations using Microsoft Powerpoint.

Students will be paid $18.00 per hour.
