Berkshire United Way (BUW) provides leadership and financial support to improve the quality of life in Berkshire County by addressing community goals for education and financial stability.  BUW is seeking to hire a:

Coordinator of Pittsfield Prevention Partnership: The successful applicant will lead and direct the coalition’s short- and long-term efforts in substance abuse prevention.

Strategies involve decreasing the risk factors and increasing the protective factors that prevent and reduce youth substance use.  BUW seeks an individual to:

  • Collaborate with diverse groups of individuals representing various races, ethnicity, and incomes.
  • Research and implement best practices and evidence-based strategies.
  • Coordinate the collection and monitoring of key indicators that measure the effectiveness of the community’s substance abuse prevention efforts.
  • Manage and report on federal grants.

Bachelor’s degree, strong technical and analytical skills and ability to build strong relationships required.  LGBTQ and people of color encouraged to apply.
