Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
Elizabeth Freeman Center
From the Elizabeth Freeman Center website: We are here, open, and ready to help! These are dangerous times. The very necessary steps we are taking to stop the spread of coronavirus also create the very conditions that result in increased danger of domestic and sexual violence. As we shelter in place in our homes, we also know that the home is not safe for so many in our community. Our services are free and confidential
Reach us 24/7 through our toll-free hotline:1-866-401-2425
We offer:
- emergency services, including safe phones, food, transportation and shelter;
- safety planning to think out what to do in case of emergency for whether you stay in or leave your home;
- help to get a protection order;
- information for yourself or someone you know;
- counseling and support;
- advocacy, including on money and housing issues; and
- specialized support for immigrant, LGBTQ, and child survivors.
We are providing services remotely whenever possible, and are also available to meet in person when necessary.
Our offices are open to help with emergencies. We are closely following DPH and CDC guidelines to keep survivors and staff safe.
