The Learning Assistance Association of New England (LAANE) is holding its 29th annual conference on Friday, October 26, 2012 right here at GCC!
LAANE supports educators who are working with under‑prepared, at‑risk, and nontraditional students in their pursuit of a post‑secondary education. The conference theme, “Student Success: There’s an App for That,” addresses the multiple topics, challenges, and opportunities we see in developmental education. Dr. Brenda Matthis, Director of Lesley University’s School of Education’s Science Technology Engineering Mathematics Division and the Technology in Education Program, will be the keynote speaker.
