This therapeutic farm program works with people with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and autism.

This position will support a team of 3 to 4 farmhands to complete various daily farm tasks. The position will utilize behavioral intervention, assess and effectively apply positive communication and learning strategies to ensure participants are achieving their vocational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in human services or vocational services.
  • Advanced trade skills specifically agriculture, carpentry, food preparation required.
  • Landscaping experience a huge plus
  • Good communication and basic computer skill
  • Physical ability to perform the requirements of the position and CPR.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record.

AVAILABLE SCHEDULE(S):

Tuesday-Saturday 8am-4pm

Day Services Counselor

Location: Chicopee

We are seeking full-time counselor to join our day services program. This position works Monday through Friday from 9:00a.m to 5:00p.m.

ServiceNet’s Enrichment Center provides day services to people with acquired brain injuries.  Programming is flexible and dynamic, allowing for individual participants to choose from an array of activities at the center as well as in the community. The goal of the Enrichment Center is to provide a fulfilling experience for the participants and to enhance their quality of life as they continue the process of rehabilitation and community reintegration.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a supportive and respectful manner.
  • Work to provide a healthy home-like atmosphere in the house or apartments.
  • Attending to the daily affairs and welfare of all clients during each assigned shift. This includes, but is not limited to training in daily living skills (laundry, help with dressing, showering, and completion of personal hygiene routines), recreational and socialization programming.
  • Writing log notes and any other client record keeping that may be assigned.
  • Successfully completing Medication Certification Training, CPR and First Aid Training, and all mandatory training required by ServiceNet

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with Developmental Disabilities and/or Brain Injured population.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field a plus.
  • TB Screen with negative results
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • MAP Certified (a plus)
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Clinician, In Home Therapy

Join the dynamic management team of ServiceNet’s In-Home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring program serving Hampshire County. Familiarity with Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) service delivery, experience providing community based mental health services to at-risk children and families, and experience providing clinical supervision are preferred. Looking for candidates that are strengths based, social justice oriented, and trauma informed in their approach to their work with clients.

Minimum Requirements:                      

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • LICSW preferred.

Autism Specialist

Location: South Hadley

We are looking for a part-time autism specialist to join our team. Per visit, positions to travel to Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden Counties, & North Quabbin area to provide intensive home-based intervention to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This flexible position allows specialists to work anywhere from 15-40 hours a week and commit to a regular number of hours weekly.

The pay range is $11-$15 an hour and the specific rate is determined by early childhood experience and experience with people with autism.

EDUCATION:

  • BA in Early Childhood, Spec. Ed., Psych, or related field preferred.
  • Associates degree or some college combined with experience with young children, people with autism, or the DIR/Floortime model may be considered.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience providing direct intervention to children based on the DIR/Floortime model is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Physical ability to perform the requirements of CPR
  • Good communication and basic computer skills

Assistant Program Manager

A full time position is available in our 24-hour residential program in Hadley working with people in mental health recovery who have recently completed a long-term hospitalization. You will assist the Program Manager with oversight and management of the team and provide ongoing consultation to staff and work with participants in as they work on their recovery goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Excellent communication, computer and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and/or relevant experience in mental health field
  • Prior management experience (preferred)
  • MAP certification, CPR, First Aid (preferred)
