PAID Arts Administration/Theater Production Internship
Berkshire Playwrights Lab in Great Barrington, MA is looking for interns who want to gain experience in both Arts Administration and Theater Production. Arts Administration is the business end of an arts organization responsible for facilitating the day-to-day operation of the organization. Theater Production has to do mounting a show, including fully staged readings and a full production of new plays.
• Arts Admin: Interns will learn how arts & culture nonprofits work and acquire skills in marketing and promotion, box office, database management, research, special projects and events.
• Production: Interns will learn skills in assisting with guest artist management, serving the needs of the director, coordinating rehearsal details, stage management, and will be able to gain an understanding of how a new play is developed.
Because we’re a small company, interns work directly with and learn directly from top level administrative, artistic and production staff. See the website for more info: https://www.berkshireplaywrightslab.org/about-us/jobs-internships/

with a professional and creative environment, while offering audiences the engaging and provocative opportunity to share in the dramatic evolution of premiere works.

4. Approximate Dates: May 29-Aug 22 (some flexibility is possible)
To Apply, please send a résumé and a cover letter. In your cover letter, please be sure to include:
