Berkshire United Way is re-opening its search for an independent self-starter with excellent project management skills for a new position: Workplace Resource Coordinator (WRC). This position will provide information, referrals, and coaching services to employees at their work place to support the Berkshire United Way (BUW) goal of improving the financial stability of working families and is the main face of BUW in a collaborative of local employers focused on improving practices to support their collective workforce and business climate. The WRC will connect employees who are facing barriers and financial challenges and solve non-work related issues with a range of resources.
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent 3 years’ experience in understanding and application of social services policies and case management, information and referral, financial counseling and budgeting, program planning and identifying and implementing best practice data collection and outcome measurement. Candidate must have valid driver’s license and availability of a motor vehicle. Requires flexible schedule in order to attend events that may occur in the early morning, evening, and weekends. Local residency desirable. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with excellent benefits.
