Fitz Vogt and Associates is seeking a Kitchen Manager for an Assisted Living facility in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts. Ideal position for a lead cook, or supervisor looking to develop their managerial skills in preparation for positions of increased responsibility. The ideal candidate would possess a strong work ethic, solid culinary back ground, ability to function in and coordinate a team, work a varied schedule, and communicate in a thoughtful and respectful manner.
Additional Responsibilities include:
Assume responsibilities of Director in their absence.
Develop and maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Perform various cooking tasks.
Order food and supplies in conjunction with Director.
Supervise Dining Room staff and service model.
Maintain and manage budgets.
Communicate with staff to meet dietary needs.
Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
Maintain schedule compliance to ensure proper staffing levels.
