Food Service/Cashier/PT BCC

Title of Position: Cashier/Food Service Worker (part-time; non-benefitted)
Salary: $13.37/hour

Position overview: Part-time, year-round position available in college food service department with primary responsibility for cash register operation. Other duties include restocking of condiment area and beverage center as well as set-up for catered events.
Qualifications: Must be able to learn quickly, be self-initiating, work as part of a team, and work without direct supervision in a fast-paced, food service environment. Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Cashier experience required; food service experience preferred. A friendly, positive, and respectful attitude is essential.

Area of Assignment: Cafeteria
Supervisor: Director of Food Services/Asst. Director of Food Services
Shift: Monday-Friday: flexible schedule of 3.5 hours/day between 7:00 am to 1:00pm
(Additional hours may be available to serve as wait staff for catered events.)
Days Off: Saturday and Sunday
