About Me!

My name is Miranda Grant. This section will go over everything about me, and the portfolio overall will address me as a student, as a worker, and who I am as a person. I hope you enjoy going over my portfolio for my first semester at Berkshire Community College!

Last year, I graduated from BART Charter Public School after being there since sixth grade. During that time, I participated in many extracurricular activities and grew as a person, furthering my abilities through various AP classes or bettering my speech skills. I also engaged in Student Ambassadors and took college classes on the side during my High School years. This allowed me to prepare for the classes I am currently faced with, and although it certainly made the transition a lot easier, I have a lot to progress on! Currently, my work at BCC has been wonderful and I enjoy the opportunities that the classes have given me to learn.

To start, I am a very creative person. At my core, I strive to establish equity and protection for the planet. I am a first-generation college student who is positively focused on education and bettering myself. I am also a very creative person – this fits in perfectly with the fact that I am a small business owner. (See some of my products to the left, p.1)

I own a shop on Etsy, where I sell handmade jewelry consisting of many styles but especially wire wrapped crystals, called mirandascrystals. In my free time, I love working on my business, posting content for it or researching methods to upgrade my work ethic. To the side (p.1 and p. 2) illustrates some of the work I post. I love incorporating spiritual work and art. Furthermore, crystals make me feel good and I want to be able to share those feelings with as many people as I can!

Beyond that, my religion, paganism is something that I want people to become more involved with. It is likely that a majority of people’s ancestors were once pagan and reconnecting with these roots and the earth is a big step in understanding yourself.
