Throughout my educational journey, I have acquired various skills that have helped me in the long run.

Reading comprehension is one of them. By taking numerous college courses, I have learned to read and understand texts better, which has helped me to break down and comprehend the meaning of the text. I have read a variety of texts such as poems, short stories, and novels that have all required me to develop an understanding of their stylistic elements, language, and ideas.

Analysis is another skill that I have developed as a result of the college courses I have taken, such as Liberal Arts, Literature, etc. These courses have compelled me to read texts more profoundly and understand what the author wants to convey. In these courses, we have had to read between the lines and comprehend what an author intends to express with their words.

Memorization and improvisation are also skills that I have developed over the years. I have participated in theatre for a long time, and this has allowed me to develop the skill of recalling important key pieces of information and continuing conversations with others. In theatre, it is common to forget your lines, but you must be able to recover from your mistakes and deliver what is essential so that it does not affect the rest of your cast or the flow of the performance. This is where I learned improvisation. As for memorization, I acquired various techniques to help myself remember things.

Lastly, speech is a skill that I have honed through both college and theatre. I have learned how to enunciate my words and speak knowledgeably on certain subjects. Theatre has forced me to be more comfortable with speaking loudly and clearly so that others can hear what I am saying. College, on the other hand, has taught me how to speak confidently on a topic since I have to learn a great deal about a subject and understand it thoroughly.
