Group Fitness Instructors

Seeking certified group fitness instructors to serve the needs of current clientele teaching cardio & boot camp classes, senior/aging population classes, and Aqua Aerobics. The ideal instructor should be passionate about health and wellness, ambitious, positive, and motivated to see clientele meet their fitness goals. Multiple shifts are available. Instructor must be certified to teach groups. Preference is given to experienced individuals who are knowledgeable about current fitness trends, are able to present a diverse exercise experience and who can work with all levels of ability. We are not seeking Yoga instructors at this time.

Fitness Room Attendant

Berkshire South is looking to hire fitness attendants. Applicants should have/or be willing to get both a CPR/First Aid and a personal training certification. The ideal applicant can work independently, but also be a team player. Applicant must be able to lift 45lbs, be knowledgeable of fitness/equipment, and be willing to clean. This is a part time position. Shifts needed vary through the week, from 6am-8:15 p.m. Experience is ideal, but we are willing to assist in training the right applicant.

The mechanical technician position performs a variety of potential mechanical duties to manufacture and re-manufacture mechanical assemblies (especially gearboxes for hybrid buses) to support operational business goals. The mechanical technician will work from work instructions/procedures, mechanical drawings and schematics in accordance with standard practices. Typical duties may include cleaning/washing, inspection, rework, stock, accumulate, build, teardown, test and packaging. In addition, the mechanical technician may work with our team of engineers to determine root cause and corrective actions.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1-2 years previous work experience performing mechanical work on various equivalent systems.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, repair, rebuild and install mechanical components, or closely related experience is required.
• Demonstrate ability to use hand and air tools, socket sets, torque wrenches, drills, etc required.
• Ability to exert physical effort to lift weights up to 60lbs on a frequent basis.
• Ability to read and write in English language required in order to complete work requests and record work performed.
