Balderdash Cellars is a unique winery as we bring grapes directly from awesome CA vineyards, right to the winery in Pittsfield. We do all the fermenting, aging, and bottling onsite. On the weekends, the winery doubles as an “upscale” tasting room. Our goal is to produce ultra premium wines with personality.

The winery is rapidly growing and we are seeking help in the tasting room and at occasional offsite events.

Job Summary
Greet and host the public. Assist in all aspects of the tasting room and ensure a memorable experience for guests. Part Time.

Essential Functions
• Provide excellent customer service: welcome guests, educate and present Balderdash wines, fox-trot as needed
• Perform sales transactions using our iPad based POS system (if you don’t know what POS stands for, this might not be the job for you)
• Collect names and email addresses so we can keep in touch with customers
• Set-up wine club membership for customers interested in the program

Requirements
• Prior experience in a customer hospitality setting preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiasm for wine!
• Unable to drink white zinfandel
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean/professional appearance
• 21 years of age or older

Working Conditions
• Regular working schedule will primarily be weekend afternoons @ Balderdash Cellars
• Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
• Washing and polishing wine glasses and dishes to maintain a clean work environment
• Ability to lift at least 45 pounds (case of wine)

About the role
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our busy marketing team, supporting  our newly invented marketing  strategy.
This role provides support to our client across the United State, as well as the newly marketing strategy, assisting with marketing campaign implementation and promoting client product/services.

Marketing Campaign Assistant Duties Includes
Working with the Marketing Supervisor to implement marketing plans and campaigns adopting appropriate tactics in order that products are marketed effectively, in a timely fashion, and monitoring sales and response rates;
You will be providing support to the marketing team with any ad hoc requests that might arise, be able to fulfill tasks on receiving a clear brief and independently take forward any delegated tasks with little supervision, proactively asking questions to solve any difficulties you may encounter.

About you
Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and quickly without supervision;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
A strong sense of initiative with the ability to make appropriate suggestions for improvements to both marketing campaigns and working practices;

$300 Weekly
