Coordinator of Court Advocate Volunteers
Part-Time 30 hours per week until Dec 31, 2015 then 25 hours/week. Manages all aspects of Berkshire Children and Families’ volunteer court advocate program includes recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers who will advocate for the best interest of child(ren) while involved in the Juvenile Court. Coordinator is responsible for cultivating and maintaining professional intra- and inter-agency relationships, as well as providing community education and awareness of the advocate program. Bachelor’s Degree is required with three years’ experience in human services, child welfare, counseling, juvenile justice and/or education; and/or as a paralegal; Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and computer skills also necessary.
