Client Service Specialist/Receptionist- Northampton

Our busy outpatient clinic in downtown Northampton is seeking part-time and full-time client service specialists. This person will have excellent customer service skills and previous experience working in a fast-paced office environment as well as familiarity with many different populations. They will greet every person who walks into the clinic with a smile and willingness to service them.

The Client Service Specialist is responsible for a variety of administrative duties necessary to run the department efficiently, including, but not limited to being cross trained in all office positions. They will also serve as a liaison for information and communication between clients, doctors, and clinicians.

Our outpatient services provide counseling and medication management, when needed, to anyone struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues in all five of our outpatient clinics. We provide evidence-based treatments that work.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 year of office experience.
  • Excellent typing, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of computers and office machinery.
  • Knowledge of excel.

MHA is a nonprofit provider of residential and support services for people with disabilities and other vulnerable individuals throughout the Greater Springfield area. U.S. Taekwondo Center in Pittsfield, Ma, is seeking professional drivers/childcare professionals to transport children in School Passenger Vans. Applicants must be experienced working with children, dependable and enjoy working with children and families. Applicants must also be physically and emotionally able and willing to transport children and be able to professionally maintain a calm, kind, safe and nurturing environment while working within the community as well as with children, families and other staff at U.S. Taekwondo. Applicants must be able to clearly and effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff.

Experience::
Applicants must have at least a HS diploma or equivalent. Experience working with school aged children Associates or Higher Degree in Human Services, Education or Social Work is a plus. Applicants must be able to complete and pass Background Check (CORI/SORI Inclusive), Full state & federal screening including finger printing, be certified in Pediatric CPR & First Aid within first 30 days of employment. Applicants must have a valid
Massachusetts 7-D driver’s license (pre or post-application), must be at least 21 years of age or older, have 3+ years driving experience, 2+ years child-care experience In-state Driver’s License (Massachusetts) with a Clean driving record.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is conducting a job lottery for entry-level employment for the positions of Bus Operator, Streetcar Motorperson, and Subway Motorperson. Positions will begin as part-time, with an opportunity to transition to full-time status. The lottery results will determine the order in which applicants will be called for testing.
