Youth Coordinator

Ability to relate to youth as a peer. Provide outreach, group facilitation and coordination of programing for area youth, youth oriented communities and organizations, including those involved with juvenile justice system; must have knowledge of LGBTQ  youth.  Competitive pay rate.

Minimum HS or GED.
Part-time 10 hours/week, some nights and weekends.

Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the development of 2D nesting layouts for vehicle parts.

7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Lunch 12pm – 12:30pm Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use base nest to customize parts creation based on sales order
  • Create nest from work orders for all vehicle parts
  • Place nesting layout on shared network drive for distribution upon approval from Engineering Manager
  • Work with ProNest to efficiently nest vehicle parts on a single sheet of metal for plasma cutting
  • Create nesting formats that result I the greatest material utilization of the sheet metal minimizing waste and scrap
  • Bring completed nesting paperwork to Plasma operator
  • Troubleshoot issues and mechanical failures on Plasma Machine, work with manufacturer to service and fix the machine as needed
  • Identify abnormalities and repairs required within the building operations systems and advise the supervisors accordingly.
  • Identify areas of process improvement, cost and waste reduction
  • Work in an efficient and timely manner
  • Undertake relevant training and development as required
  • Carry out duties within a realistic time line ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships, and demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for a diverse population

Miscellaneous Duties:

  • Work with Production Department on the design and development of tool and die for use within the production of parts
  • Create and maintain documentation for Build Books including taking photos and describing the various steps involved for frame build completion including chassis, frame, torque specifications etc.
  • Create design fit and orientation of customer supplied radios
  • Minor design jobs
  • Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate
  • Understand and comply with Lenco safety and environmental policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Mechanical Background
  • Working knowledge of and AutoCAD ProNest preferred
  • Must have own tools
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while maintaining scheduled deadlines

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass physical exam
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb into, onto and under vehicle
  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, bending, squatting and kneeling
  • Must be able to climb into, onto and under vehicle
  • Vision a minimum 20/40 with or without corrective lenses
  • Good hearing

Detail / Design Draftsman

The Detail Draftsman is responsible for creating, modifying and prototyping a variety of designs for Lenco new and existing vehicles and parts.

7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Lunch 12pm – 12:30pm Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs new products and redesign existing parts for Lenco vehicles
  • Produces SolidWorks drawings and bill of materials for final shop drawings
  • Fine tunes all new and existing parts for production
  • Creates solid modeling/prototypes of design projects
  • Undertake relevant training and development as required
  • Carry out work orders within a realistic time line ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Identify abnormalities and repairs required within the building operations systems and advise the supervisors accordingly.
  • Identify areas of process improvement, cost and waste reduction
  • Work in an efficient and timely manner
  • Undertake relevant training and development as required
  • Carry out duties within a realistic time line ensuring that deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate SolidWorks skills and Experience
  • 3D assembly drawing ability
  • Knowledge of drafting standards
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Own tools required
