Dishwasher/Sanitation Specialist

Mon – Fri with benefits *Up to $12/hr

 

The Dishwasher/Sanitation Specialist is responsible for initiatives related to food safety and hygiene, cleaning and control procedures and for ensuring the facility is in compliance with local, state, federal and agency food sanitation standards.

 

  • Monday –Friday 10:30 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. with flexibility for weekend and holiday hours as needed
  • Full Time benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, holiday pay, retirement
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • 2 years of experience in food services, residential or camp setting preferred.
  • SafeServ Food Handler certification preferred.
  • Must have clean and valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30lbs.

 

Job responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for overall cleanliness of dining hall, kitchen, scullery and store room areas
  • Responsible for maintaining stockroom, freezer, and cooler areas in neat and orderly manner
  • Food Bank pick ups
  • Catering responsibilities include pick up, set up and break down
  • Assist with Workforce Development Program including mentoring, coaching, and teaching youth in all facets of sanitation.  Act as a positive role model and maintain boundaries with youth

Execute a comprehensive plan for annual employee and corporate giving. Employs fundraising strategies and develops relationships with current and potential donors to increase overall support of BUW. Bachelor’s degree, strong leadership, supervisory and communication skills required. Three years’ experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, advertising or public relations preferred.

Resource Development Assistant
Supports general fundraising and office operations, including use of database to coordinate solicitations and mailings, manage constituent relationships and develop reports. Covers reception and assists with office projects. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.  Excellent communication and customer relations skills required.
