The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is conducting a job lottery for entry-level employment for the positions of Bus Operator, Streetcar Motorperson, and Subway Motorperson. Positions will begin as part-time, with an opportunity to transition to full-time status. The lottery results will determine the order in which applicants will be called for testing. The list generated as a result of this lottery will be in use for approximately two to three (2-3) years.
