Inside Sales Representative (Technical Sales) –
South Lee, Massachusetts

An exciting opportunity exists at Boyd Technologies, Inc. in South Lee for an Inside Sales Representative to develop and grow profitable sales in support of the Company’s strategic growth plan. The Inside Sales Representative will evaluate customer inquiries and technical specifications, schedule trials, facilitate material sourcing between customers and vendors, prepare quotes using process estimation forms and pricing worksheets, and assist in the close of sales. Travel will include industry conferences, trade shows and site visits. There is extensive upward mobility potential in this role.

Applicants should have:

A bachelor’s degree in a business or engineering discipline
Two or more years technical experience in a supportive role with a preference to candidates with a OEM or contract manufacturing background.
Ability to satisfy Boyd’s business development requirements and lateral thinking to foster continual improvement in the department
Desire to grow career in a professional sales/account management role
Passion to help differentiate Boyd from the competition
Exceptional interpersonal skills to work cohesively within existing work group as well as to positively engage with prospects and customers
Strong initiative, ability to work independently and consistent follow through.

Summary

The Program Manager coordinates all aspects for DDS Employment and Training. S/he assures that all objectives are met and works with the Director to assure that operations are managed within budgetary limits.  Responsible for the management and supervision of staff and oversight of job development and marketing efforts. S/he provides back-up support to other programs.

Education, Training, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and seven years experience in direct service delivery with one year of experience in management or supervisory position OR Master’s degree in human service field and five years related experience. Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities desired.

Other Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, the use of vehicle, and the willingness to transport program participants in a personal and/or agency vehicle.  Desire to do meaningful work and make a difference in someone’s life a must.  Bilingual/Bicultural experience is an asset.
