Machine Operator                        

We are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators. Maintain production and quality. Looking for candidates with strong attention to detail and desire for quality work. Responsible for visual product quality, set up of machinery and continuous running of the machines.

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Good hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills performing repetitive motions
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods on a concrete floor
  • Must work well with others in a loud production environment
  • Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
  • Must have own reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass Pre Employment Drug Screen and Physical

Shipping/Receiving

We are currently seeking experienced Shipping and Receiving clerk. Full time position. Monday – Friday. 8:00-5:00pm. Some overtime required. Candidate will be responsible for variety of packing and shipping, and receiving operations, including assemble, address and ship, receive, unpack, verify and record incoming shipments. Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two to five years experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse environment. Must be computer literate. Excellent communication skills, general math skills, organizational skills and attention to detail required. Successful candidates must be able to work safely within company policies and procedures. Temp to hire opportunity.

TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT – MANUFACTURING POSITIONS

INTERPRINT partners with MOLARI to fill manufacturing positions. If you are interested in working at Interprint in one of our manufacturing positions please contact MOLARI. If you are selected, you will work approximately 4-6 months as a temporary employee gaining experience and determining if Interprint is the right place for you.

Interprint, Inc. is a designer and printer of decor paper used as the design layer in laminate surfaces such as countertops, flooring, furniture, store fixtures and a host of other applications.

EMPLOYMENT:
We are currently looking for individuals who are willing to learn our unique business. We offer on the job training so that you will have the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to become a regular employee. Our goal is to hire dedicated, responsible individuals who are looking for a career at Interprint.

HOURS:
Rotating 12 hour swing shifts, non-negotiable. Approximately 48 – 60 hours per week.

Days: Monday – Friday, (6 a.m. – 6 p.m.) or (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) depending on dept.
Nights: Monday -Thursday (6 p.m. – 6 a.m.) or (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) depending on dept.

 

Requirements :
Must have own RELIABLE transportation.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent

Job Title: Print Technician                                                           Hours: 7 to 7

Job Description: Support printer by assisting in operation of rotogravure printing press. Prepare press for use; clean equipment; change cylinders; load ink. Maintain production and quality. Learn computer operated control panel operation; operate web video system.

Job Training Workshops – Goodwill

-Goodwill has announced their workforce development fall schedule of training programs that benefit older workers, transitional youth, non-English speakers, veterans and others.

-The Goodwill job training maker space provides a welcome setting in which participants learn skills and gain work experience that helps them achieve their goals, enhance their resumes and qualify them for their next great job.

-These programs are available at no-cost or low-cost thanks to donations, sales in our retail stores, grant funding including Berkshire Bank Foundation and others, our volunteers, business partners, and income generated from recycling-based Business 101 projects.

Our fall program schedule includes:

Business 101: Spot-On Cleaning

Starting on Monday October 27, the 15-week-long custodial business program “Spot-On-Cleaning” begins. Participants develop skills not only in custodial cleaning, they also learn pricing and scheduling work, customer service and satisfaction. Enrollment is on a rolling basis, allowing new students to join throughout the program’s progression.

Soft Skills Development

Starting on Friday October 17, the six-week “GoodWorks Soft Skills” class teaches teamwork, decision-making, builds self-confidence and skills for a successful career.  This Fall session is taught by Goodwill on location at Mildred Elley in Pittsfield on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Business 101: Recycled Rags

Accepting participants for this program in late fall. This operational business repurposes textiles into a marketable commodity – industrial cleaning rags. This business-within-a-business in the Pittsfield training maker space provides the opportunity for participants to build skills in textile recycling processing, sales and customer service.

Suit Yourself, which provides business attire and interview coaching for job seekers, is available to all participants in Goodwill job readiness training programs.

Mass Humanities celebrates its fortieth anniversary with a film-and-discussion program that takes on urgent questions about the American social contract today.

Join moderator Elizabeth Duclos-Orsello for a 2-hour conversation followed by a reception. We will show clips selected from among the NEH’s Created Equal films (The Loving Story and Freedom Riders) as well as from The Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers, a film funded by Mass Humanities.
