The Capstone Project I completed this semester is attached through the link below. This project is a compilation of photos of artwork done throughout the community. The purpose of this project was to display how there is art all within the community that inspires and connect with its members.
This next piece of work was a piece I wrote for my Humanities class. It was a project where we had to take a reading and describe how we would display it visually as a film. I decided to incorporate this because it was a project that required a great sense of creativity and was one that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Lastly, I included two writing samples that were both written this semester for my English Composition class. The first is an essay I wrote discussing the upsides as well as downsides that social media has on society, especially when it comes to the impact it can have on people’s mental health. The second essay is one written about the topics discussed in the short essay “Men Are More Afraid Than Ever” by Lilli Loofbourow. In this essay I discussed how there is a clear power dynamic between men and women in today’s society. I decided to choose these two as my writing samples because I feel like they both focus on important current day topics while also displaying my writing abilities.
