This blog is the living document that is my educational and work portfolio. I hope the content here shows you a bit more about me and what I may have to offer! Before you dive in to the rest of the blog, I would like to share a little bit about myself. My name is Althea! I am 23, and I am local to the Berkshires of Massachusetts. I am currently in the Liberal Arts program at Berkshire Community College. I have plans to join the nursing program in the near future, but I would like to return to my Liberal Arts education as soon as I get the opportunity. I am also a student at MCLA, studying for my Clinical Medical Assistant Certification. For work I am a practice assistant currently, executing my clinical training for Berkshire Health Systems. I am also a proud member of the National Honors Society and the BCC Honors Program, with a combined GPA of 3.9. Ultimately my goal in both work and education is to use my time and energy to give something positive back to the world. My passion for healthcare is almost as intense as my passion to learn and evolve. At this point in my career I don’t have concrete expectations of where I may end up, but I am dedicated to being an active participant in my journey to wherever I am headed. If you would like to know more about how I spend my free time, some of my hobbies include hiking with my dogs, collaging, creative writing, cooking and refinishing furniture.

If you would like to contact me with inquiries, I am best reached through email.
