Help provide services, operational support, and coverage in the College’s Tutorial Center. Primarily responsible for matching and scheduling students with appropriate tutors; monitoring attendance and tutoring relationships; maintain consistent communication with tutors and students; maintaining the Tutorial Center’s database; assisting the Coordinator in recruiting, hiring, and training tutors; completing paperwork for office records and Human Resources department; maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in the Tutorial Center; maintaining inventory for textbook library and office supplies; and serving as the Center’s primary receptionist. Required Qualifications:
At least two years full-time or equivalent part-time office work experience, or appropriate education or combination of education and work experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Ability to use to emerging technologies. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of student and tutor records and information. Strong office organization skills. Must enjoy working with people and be motivated, accurate, organized, flexible, and dependable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Some college education. Community college and student support program experience. Database, data entry, and data management experience.
