Research Analysts preform a combination of online research and telephone interviews with life science investors including angel groups, VCs, corporate venture capital, endowments, foundations, family offices, hedge funds, private equity firms, and big pharma. This research will be used to profile investors in LSN’s Investor platform based on their current investment mandates. Analysts will discover who, and what types of capital providers are funding at each stage of the life science product development process. Analysts will be tasked with cultivate relationships with these investors across the world and learn the nuances of the life science investment landscape.
In addition to preforming investor research, Research Analysts with a relevant scientific or healthcare related academic background will be involved with preforming scientific due diligence and validation on potential clients and participants in the RESI Innovation Challenge. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to break into the business side of the life science industry from the academic or lab research setting.
Minimum Qualifications/Major:
- Recent or soon to be Graduates
- Academic background in Science, Healthcare or Business preferred
- Strong written and verbal English, editorial skills and attention to detail
- Interest in learning about the early stage life science investment ecosystem
- Interest in working at a startup company
