Sr. Analyst, Market Assessment Auto Req ID 5701BR Relocation Assistance Yes Region/Pole Americas Functional Work Area Marketing Job Purpose & Responsibilities The Market Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the creation, maintenance and presentation of relevant market intelligence for new business cases. The Market Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for building the criteria to measure business cases and provide the intelligence to improve programs as identified. • Activities will include, but not be limited to the following o Identification and collection of business sensitive external information that has the potential to affect Sabic Innovative Plastic’s competitive position. o Create process for gathering internally obtained knowledge relevant to our new programs being proposed. o Coordinate, summarize, and effectively articulate elements of this data to business leadership and help drive informed business decisions. o Preparation and presentation of regular and actionable information and data relevant to specific industry, competition, and product capabilities and plans. o Conduct internal and external benchmarking. Decipher and synthesize complex data into intelligent analysis that is useful and action-specific. o Analyzing past program results to identify key success factors for our current programs. o With minimal supervision, continuously improve understanding of key success factors and bring those learnings into our marketing process • Work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with opportunity to grow and move to a variety of SABIC job opportunities. Requirements Education/Training: • Bachelor’s Degree required, BS in an engineering discipline preferred. • MBA in Marketing preferred • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Capable of managing multiple projects/requests simultaneously. • Demonstrates self-initiative to independently execute marketing projects as needed • Ability to work in a matrixed team environment and share responsibilities with a group of peers.
