Quality Assurance Technician- Lee, Massachusetts Boyd Technologies is an advanced flexible materials company that provides design and development, commercialization support, and custom manufacturing for global OEM partners. The company is ISO 9001 and 13485 certified. We are seeking a QA Technician to join our staff to support our quality management system objectives throughout the manufacturing process. In this role you will:
•Review outgoing documentation and coordinate release of production jobs upon completion.
•Complete Certificates of Compliance and/or Certificates of Analysis, as well as applicable data analysis for outgoing shipments.
•Use electronic document management and quality records system to assist in creation/revision of production work instructions, production forms, item directory forms, and other documentation related to production.
•Schedule and perform in-process checks and quality line audits, focusing on areas of improvement.
•Participate in root cause analysis and other corrective action activities
•Support and participate in training and continual improvement initiatives. As a candidate of choice, you have an Associates degree and three to five years working in a manufacturing or laboratory setting, or one or more years experience in a similar QA role. You have worked in a ISO 9001 or 13485 Quality Management System environment. You are very detail oriented and are considered by others to be neat and organized. You pick up new software or systems easily and have intermediate Microsoft office skills. You manage your time well and can work independently with minimal direct supervision. You are a good communicator and can give presentations or relay information to managers or co-workers in a group setting.
