Box Office Supervisor

The Mahaiwe seeks a full-time, year-round Box Office Supervisor.  In addition to performing all regular ticket-selling duties, the Box Office Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, training and mentoring box office staff to ensure efficient and effective customer service.  The Box Office Supervisor will be expected to build events in the ticketing system, generate daily and weekly sales reports, and oversee sales of artist merchandise during shows. The Mahaiwe uses PatronManagerCRM to manage ticket sales, membership benefits and constituent relations.

The Box Office Supervisor will be expected to maintain an exceptional atmosphere of positive customer service and engagement with the ticket-buying public, to work well under pressure, and manage multiple tasks.

The Mahaiwe presents and hosts a wide range of programs, including music, dance, plays, opera, HD broadcasts, lectures and films.
Requirements include box office experience, strong computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and leadership skills. The right candidate will be articulate, courteous, calm and organized.

The Box Office Supervisor reports to the Theater Operations Manager. The schedule includes day-time and evening hours, weekdays and weekends. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.  Please send cover letter and resume to HR@mahaiwe.org.

Box Office Assistants

The Mahaiwe is hiring year-round, part-time box office assistants for day-time shifts, seeking responsible individuals with solid computer skills and experience providing excellent customer service. Box office assistants will handle ticket sales by phone and in person, respond to general inquiries regarding Mahaiwe events, promote the Mahaiwe membership program, and prepare accurate daily sales reports.
