A bit of a warning…..a mesoscale convective system (MCS) [organized area of thunderstorms] has “unexpectedly” developed along the warm front overnight and is moving rapidly towards us across NY state (see radar link for up to the minute radar). It is likely to weaken but I would still expect a period of heavy (possibly) rain with some embedded thunder later this morning (10 or 11). It should rapidly clear and warm after it passes….
