I started volunteering when I still lived in North Carolina, for roughly around three years I went with a group from my church to hand out lunches we made earlier that day to low-income neighborhoods in the vicinity. After I moved to Massachusetts, I continued to hand out lunches to low-income families for around two years. However, I was a part of my towns soup kitchen. In high school, I joined the Charley’s Fund club in which I have helped raise around 1,000 dollars by sitting out and asking for donations.

I started officially working as a gas station employee at the end of eight grade at Papas Healthy Food and Fuel (2000 E Otis Rd, East Otis, MA 01029). I worked there from March 2020 to March 2021 in which I worked a total of 1,164 (5 hours a week during the school year, and 35 hours a week during the summer. During the second semester of my sophomore year in high school, I started working as a Lifeguard at Berkshire South Community Center (15 Crissey Rd, Great Barrington, MA 01230), and have worked 1,548 hours (6 hours a week during the school year and 25 hours a week during the summer). Lifeguarding is the job I currently have and will continue to work these hours.
