About me

about me/
  ALLISON HULL

My name is Allison Hull, and I am a psychology student with a deep commitment to understanding and improving mental and emotional wellbeing. My academic journey is rooted in both personal experience and professional focus: after serving in the U.S. Air Force, I discovered the transformative power of psychological insight and healing. Since then, I have dedicated myself to studying the mind, exploring cognitive development, trauma recovery, and strategies for human flourishing.

Currently attending community college, I am pursuing a future in research psychology with plans to complete my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Northeastern University. My technical writing projects — ranging from formal reports to literature reviews and operational manuals — reflect a commitment to clear communication, structured thinking, and the meaningful application of research to real-world challenges. I believe that strong writing and research skills are essential tools for effecting change in individual lives and across communities.

My long-term goal is to contribute to the field of psychology by helping others uncover their potential for growth, healing, and resilience. Through a foundation in rigorous research, inclusive practice, and empathic understanding, I hope to assist individuals and communities in achieving lasting wellbeing. I invite you to explore my portfolio to see how each project reflects this commitment.

Healing is not only possible — it is powerful, and it is necessary for a thriving future.
