Hello, Nicole and I have used this new feature; it’s a nice enhancement to the digital grading feature – Grademark – that is part of Turn It In. Look for more digital grading and Turn It In workshops in the Fall!
INTRODUCING VOICE COMMENTS
Instructors now have the ability to leave a voice comment in GradeMark to give students additional substantive feedback that is clear, engaging, and easy to understand.
- Open Grademark
- Click the little wrench which opens up the Quickmark Manager
- Choose the Set the QM you want to get rid of is in (Commonly Used)
- Single click the QM you want to delete
- Choose “Actions”
- Single click “Other”
- Click “Remove from this set”
“Providing Electronic Feedback on Student Papers” will be held Thu, Apr 12 in the CTL, 12:15 – 1:30pm (lunch included). Join Chuck Prescott, Nicole Mooney, and other instructors to view and discuss methods of digital grading. Digital grading can save time and paper, and provide new options for giving feedback to students on their work. Lunch will be provided. Please register by April 10. Click here to register
Three faculty members attended this workshop on Nov 18th. Within 30 minutes, they were able to set up, search for, submit, and see the results of the TII “originality” (plagiarism) report. Now, when they wish to do a quick check of a paper, they just log in, click the Quicksubmit tab, and upload or copy and paste the student paper. Typically, the report takes less than 5 minutes to process. Another workshop will be offered 12:15 – 1:15pm, on Thu, Dec 1. Check the invitation in your email for details.
