I have decided that, in order to improve upon forecasts for Berkshire County made by professionals who spend their entire day sorting through the data (public and private forecast companies), I need to spend several hours each day that I do not have available presently. For those of you who have come to depend on the forecasts here, I apologize. The plan is to start having students in the new Atmospheric Science program start posting forecasts here when the Weather Analysis and Forecasting class (ATM-211) begins next year……
