World Geography (GEO-125)

Course Description:

An introduction to World Geography stressing the location and interrelationships of the various nations on our planet along with their cultural, linguistic, economic, and religious makeup.  The role of weather and climate, ocean currents, rivers, coastline features, mountains, and geological movement will be examined.  Attention will also be given to the geological, topographical, economic, and historical forces that have formed them and the challenges they face in the twenty first century.  Skills prerequisite:  ENG 020.
