HUM 155 – THE HARLEM RENAISSANCE

Students explore the Harlem of the 1920’capital of the “black world” where poets, novelists, sculptors, painters and musicians congregated. Explores questions such as: Who was this New Negro? What effect did white patronage have on the black artist?
