ServiceNet is seeking outreach counselors to work with our Developmental/Brain Injury Services (DBIS) clients in the Northampton, MA area. The schedule is Sunday thru Thursday 12 pm to 8 pm.
Outreach counselors are amazing individuals who enable the people they work with to live more independent lives. As part of our outreach services, you will work with individuals in their homes and help them take care of the needs identified in their individual service plan (ISP). The ultimate goal of outreach services is to help our clients become more and more self-sufficient and empower them to live their best life!
Here are some areas of support we help our clients with:
- Health & Hygiene Maintenance
- Money Management
- Domestic Skills
- Meal Planning & Prep
- Grocery Shopping
- Taking the client to medical, dental, & mental Health appointments
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with Developmental Disabilities and/or Brain Injured population.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Physical ability to perform the requirements of the position and CPR.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record. BENEFITS/COMPENSATION:
