Come meet these former and some current Life Sciences students who began at BCC and went on to do great things.

Tim Desmaris — (Env Class of 2015).  Today is an Intern with the Monomoy Island National Wildlife Refuge on Cape Cod – building bridges and monitoring seabirds and other marine life. He’s off to college in the fall.

René Wendell — (ENV Class of 2002). Finished his college career at MCLA and most recently has been the Regional Ecologist for the Trustees of Reservations at Bartholomew’s Cobble. He’s one of the regions top birders!

Scott McGinnis — (ENV Class of 2002). Finished his college career at Hampshire College and then went through the rigorous training required to become a Pittsfield Firefighter. As part of that job, he is now on the Massachusetts’ Hazardous Materials Response Team.

Jim Wilusz  — (ENV and LIBERAL ARTS Class of 2001). As Executive Director of the Tritown Health Department, Jim oversees a busy staff (some also former BCC students) to “Promote, protect, and sustain public health” in Lee, Lenox, and Stockbridge.
