Description

Canyon Ranch Outdoor Sports Guides provide a wide variety of activities to our guests: winter sports, hiking, biking, high ropes courses, kayaking, sculling and more.
This well-rounded sports enthusiast will be responsible for the safety and well being of guests on an activity sponsored by Outdoor Sports.
 
Essential Job Functions
  • Ensures the care of Guests and fellow guides on Outdoor Sports activities.
  • Ensures the care of all and any necessary equipment.
  • Prepare and deprep for all activities including the vans, backpacks, equipment and snacks.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and customer service in all situations.
 Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
  • College degree related to Outdoor Recreation,  or experience.
  • Prefer a background in outdoor sports such as water sports, ropes courses and/or rock climbing recreationally or professionally.
  • Must be physically fit and must have sound knowledge of activities and skills required to perform them.
  • Wilderness First Aid, Red Cross Lifeguard, ACCT Approved Ropes Facilitator & CPR Trained.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, detail oriented and have the ability to work well with a variety of people and in a team environment.
  • Must be neat, professional, outgoing and must like to be around people.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check (federal & state), physical and drug screening.
  • Must be 21+ years of age with a valid and clean driving record.

Accounts Payable Rep/Mass College of Liberal Arts

Job Description:

MCLA is seeking an Accounts Payable Representative for the Administration & Finance Office who will be responsible for performing all accounts payable functions via automated A/P system (Great Plains). Duties include research and resolution of payable issues with campus and vendor representatives. Provide information and support to the campus community regarding the proper procedures to follow in order to make the accounts payable function work smoothly and efficiently. Must be innovative and willing to embrace new technologies and processes.

Requirements:

Required qualifications:

AAS in accounting, business or finance preferred; HS diploma/GED required.

Three years experience with automated accounts payable and business office practices.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to communication professionally and effectively both written and orally.

Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products, specifically Excel and a working knowledge of bookkeeping.

This is a security sensitive position. Employment is contingent upon acceptable background check.
