A full-time (40 hours per week), year-round position as an Administrative Assistant is available.  The Administrative Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative duties for the Center for Environmental Studies and the Zilkha Center for Environmental Initiatives.  Responsibilities of this position include hiring and supervising student workers; coordinating student grant and intern opportunities; managing and maintaining accurate financial records including invoices, reconciliations and vouchers; coordinating logistics for campus events, guest speakers and job searches; maintaining webpages and listserv data; greeting visitors, answering the phone, replying to general enquiries to the CES and Zilkha Center; assisting faculty members with preparing course packages, and providing general support the CES and Zilkha staff.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in an office environment or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Requirements include the ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks; excellent oral and written communication skills; accuracy and attention to detail; professionalism, and the capacity to collaborate with others. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe is essential. Band 18. Review of resumes will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Job # 300952-W
