Crane, a premier manufacturer of fine stationery, currency and nonwoven papers, currently has an opening for a Corporate Recruiter, which will have the flexibility to work virtually, requiring 20 – 30% of the time spent in the Dalton or Boston, MA office or Nashua, NH office.
The Corporate Recruiter, under general guidance of the Vice President of Human Resources, is responsible for the full life-cycle recruiting process, advertising, travel destinations, that includes, but not limited to, sourcing, identifying, recruiting, screening and recommending candidates primarily for exempt and non-exempt, regular full-time positions.
The Recruiter will help guide hiring managers and candidates through the selection process, performing full lifecycle recruiting while maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large. A wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required. This position will partner with the Human Resource team and executive management to develop and execute staffing strategies, enhance the company’s visibility/reputation in key recruiting channels, and establish Crane as an employer of choice in our markets.
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting, professional level team members; corporate and agency staffing recruiting experience required; HR Generalist experience in a corporate setting
A professional appearance and demeanor is essential
Thorough understanding of advertising industry and application
Experience with use of a web-based applicant tracking system, including proven ability to train end users. Experience with ICIMS a big plus.
Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required
Demonstrated ability to present new recruiting concepts to hiring managers and get buy-in to continually improve recruiting processes and outcomes
Experience recruiting for a broad range of technical and professional exempt and non-exempt positions in a national, multi-location environment
Some travel may be required
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Ability to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible
Must demonstrate strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
Must demonstrate poise and maturity to articulate business goals, vision, culture and environment
Must demonstrate exceptional customer focus, interpersonal, coaching and teamwork skills
Proficiency in office computer software systems (MS office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
