Priority Registration for Fall 2012 Semester
It is that time of the semester when you need to select the courses you would like to take next semester. A special day is set aside each semester for you to meet with your academic advisor to preregister for these classes. This semester Priority Registration Day is scheduled for Tuesday, April 24, 2012.
I have posted a schedule of appointments on my office door (M242) for Monday, April 23, 2012 and Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Keep in mind that there are classes on Monday, but there are no classes on Tuesday so your time will be more flexible.
Please come to this appointment prepared with what you want to take next semester. The Fall 2012 Semester Course Schedule is available at the Registrar’s Office and as a PDF on the BCC website.
Log on to WebAdvisor to view your degree audit and a complete list of course offerings. Web Advisor will show what courses you have competed, what courses you are enrolled in currently, and what courses remain to be taken.
• Review the Fall 2012 Semester Course Schedule booklet for courses that will be offered Fall 2012.
• Check the BSS Rotation Schedule at http://blogs.Berkskhirecc.edu/bss to determine when in the future courses may be offered. Some courses are only offered once a year. Be sure you have taken the required prerequisites so that you are prepared to take a course when it is offered.
• Check the college catalog to see if a course you need has any prerequisites.
• Prepare a tentative schedule on the blank schedule sheet included in the booklet. Include the course code for each course (BSS 101) and the section number (01). The section number, not the time, is used on the registration form.
• To be sure that you are not closed out of any classes, submit your registration form on time.
